(ORLEANS) - 65-year-old Kenny Hobson, of Orleans, and his team of Belgian draft horses, Jack and Buck last week placed fourth in the sled pulling competition at the Morgan County Fair.
Hobson and his team of horses competed against other teams pulling a sled filled with loads that can exceed 9,000 pounds, depending on conditions.
Each team has two attempts at pulling the weight the 27 1/2 feet needed for a full pull. Hobson and his team finished took fourth place by pulling 8,000 pounds.
