(DUBOIS) - Here’s a case where it was truly lost in the mail.
Officials with the Dubois Water Utility want to inform Dubois Water Customers looking for their bills, that current August water statements were taken in shipping boxes to the Dubois Post Office on time this past Friday August 3rd.
However, according to the post office, the mail now goes through Indianapolis, and for some reason the bills have not yet been distributed by the postal service.
Post office officials say they are trying to locate the Water Department's shipping boxes with the bills.
Meanwhile, folks can call the Dubois Water Utility office at 678-5161 or 800-453-6972 in regards to information on this month's bill. Office hours are from 8 am till 4 pm Monday thru Friday.
Water Utility officials apologize for the inconvenience and say if the shipping boxes are not located soon, they'll have no choice but to reprint and mail this month's statements in the next few days.
