(MITCHELL) - A boil order is in effect for Spice Valley Road, Porter Burton Road and Burton Cemetery Road until further notice.
The order applies to customers in these areas who were without water during Sunday's water main break.
If water is intended for consumption, customers should bring water to a boil, let it boil vigorously for two minutes and let water cool before using.
Customers also may use bottled water.
Pre-boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, brushing teeth, washing vegetables, washing dishes, making infant formula, all food preparation and consumption, and making ice.
