BNL Marching Band Showcase And Football Scrimmage Tonight

(BEDFORD) - The Bedford-North Lawrence High School marching band will present its preview performance at 5:30 p.m. tonight on the band's practice lot and at 6 p.m. BNL Blue-White Intrasquad Scrimmage game kicks off at BNL Stadium.

Brian Lackey, band director, said the preview performance is a great showcase for band members to display the skills and to present part or all of their upcoming fall competition show.

Their 2012 show is called, "Echoes of an Era - the Music of the Beatles.

A picnic will follow Friday's performance, and all in attendance are invited to stay and enjoy the pitch-in. The BNL Music Boosters will provide hamburgers, cheeseburgers and table service.

The public is invited.

The defending sectional champion Bedford North Lawrence Football team will host its annual Blue-White Intrasquad Scrimmage game tonight at BNL Stadium starting at 6 p.m.

The the stars fling the pig-skin, the BNL Touchdown Club will sell Mark's BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches and drinks.

Admission is a white towel or sports drink.
