Bloomington Police Looking For Man Accused Of Battery

(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police are looking for 30-year-old Allen Robinson.

According to Bloomington Lt. Bill Parker, Robinson is accused of interfering with the report of a crime and domestic battery.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

According to police, on Tuesday, Robinson's girlfriend came home around 12:31 a.m. and found Robinson in a drunken slumber.

The 29-year-old woman went to the bathroom and saw a cockroach and yelled, waking Robinson.

That is when Robinson who was woke up pushed the woman into the bathroom door frame causing her to hit her head. Police say she screamed again and Robinson allegedly covered the woman's mouth. She told police she was unable to breathe.

The woman attempted to call for help, but Robinson grabbed her phone, throwing it against a wall and damaging it.

Robinson fled the scene before police arrived.

Anyone with information about Robinson is asked to call Bloomington Police.
