28-year-old James Washburn, was riding his bike from Peoples Park after telling his wife he had business to attend to.

A friend told 21-year-old Amber Richardson that her husband was meeting another woman. According to Bloomington Police Lt. Bill Parkers that is when his wife tackled him off his bike.

She then hit her husband in the face breaking his glasses. That, according to police, is when he hit her back

Police say the two fell to the ground in a brawl.

At some point Richardson forcefully gripped her husband's scrotum. As the two continued to fight she bit her husband and he responded by stimulating a pressure point in her neck.

Richardson, who told police she is pregnant and complained of having abdominal pain. Washburn denied ever hitting his wife. Washburn also told police his wife had lied about the pregnancy.
