Bedford Woman Injured In Rear-End Collision

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured after her 2003 Chevrolet Blazer was rear-ended at the intersection of 16th Street and Ind. 37 Thursday at 6:10 p.m.

According to a Bedford Police report, 62-year-old Sharon Davis, of Bedford, was traveling west on 16th Street, when her Blazer was rear-ended by a 2007 Ford Freestyle, driven by 31-year-old April Saliba, of Mitchell.

Saliba told police she had turned around to check on her Child's McDonalds Happy Meal and that is when she rear-ended Davis' vehicle. Saliba told police the accident was her fault.

Saliba and her passengers were not hurt. Davis complained of neck pain, but refused medical treatment at the scene. She told police if it continued have pain, she would seek medical attention.
