(BEDFORD) - 46-year-old John William Hudson II, of Bedford, was arrested Thursday on federal charges of distributing child pornography and two counts of possession of child pornography.
FBI special agent spokeswoman, Wendy Osborne says federal agents served an arrest warrant at Hudson's home at 1717 14th Street. He was taken to the Marion Cunty Jail and appeared before Magistrate Judge Kennard P. Foster. Osaborne says she can no discuss the specifics of the case.
According to a grand jury inditment, on or about January 26th Hudson distributed by computer 20 images of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
The indictment also alleges that on or about May 1, Hudson possessed more than one image, film, videotape or other matter, depicting a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. He also had thumb drives and a digital hard drive containing 24 images depicting minors engaging in sex.
Hudson waived his formal arraignment and an automatic not guilty plea was entered in his behave. A jury trial is scheduled for October 22, in New Albany before Judge Tanya Walton Pratt.
