Williams Teen Injured After Falling Asleep While Driving

(WILLIAMS) - A Williams teen was injured after he fell asleep while driving early this morning.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, Jack Spreen, of 8953 Williams Road, was traveling west on Ind. 450 when he fell asleep and the 2004 Ford F150 he was driving went off the right side of the roadway and hit a tree.

The truck then went back onto the roadway and again went off the right side of the road hitting a second tree, causing the truck to spin around before coming to a stop.

Spreen suffered a cut on his wrist and was taken by private vehicle for treatment.
