Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department Battle Blaze At Vacant House

(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department extinguished a house fire in the 300 block of East Vine Street Sunday morning.

Firefighters were called to the scene at 2:52 a.m. and were there until 8:30 a.m.

According to police logs the home was vacant.

The fire rekindled at 4:48 p.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
