Mitchell Man Arrested After Pointing Gun At His Neighbor

(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested after he got into a heated argument with his neighbors in the 2800 block of Bono Road Wednesday.

According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig police arrested 49-year-old Jeffry Mills after he pointed a gun and threatened his neighbor. Mills was charged with criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.

Craig says the two neighbors were fighting over fireworks being set off and and the argument became heated and that is when Mills allegedly pointed the gun at his neighbor.

No one was injured during the altercation.
