(TUNNELTON) - Two adults missing since Saturday were found Tuesday afternoon when they approached a construction crew outside of a home on Tunnelton Road and asked for water.
Thirsty and tired, 32-year-old Alicia Pourner, of Buddha and 30-year-old Louis Karn, of Bedford, told police they had been walking for a couple of days. One of the workers called police.
Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig says the couple was taken to the hospital to be examined because they seemed dehydrated. Each is developmentally disabled and neither drives.
Craig says, the two were reported missing Saturday, but the Pourner family didn't want to publicize anything, because they thought the couple was not in danager and would be found quickly.
Craig says, the case is still under investigation.
