Linton Woman Files Law Suit Against Walmart After Son Injured

(LINTON) - A Linton woman has filed a civil tort suit against Walmart Store East, LP, after her son allegedly slipped on a substance on the floor.

Nick Schneider, of the Greene County Daily World, reported in the suit filed July 16th in Greene Superior Court, Tina Arnold alleges that on or about June 6th, her son, Chase Matthew Arnold, was in the Walmart store, located on 2251 East State Road 54 in Linton and slipped on what the suit termed "a foreign substance" on the floor - causing him to fall and suffer injuries.

The suit alleges that because of the fall Chase Arnold has suffered temporary and permanent injuries and may incur future medical expenses.

The suit, filed the Terre Haute law firm of Wagner, Crawford and Gambill, seeks a judgment against Walmart East LP in an amount to adequately compensate him for the injuries as well as cost involved with filing the lawsuit.

No court date was immediately set.
