Discarded Cigarette Being Blamed For Brush Fire Near Dubois

(DUBOIS) - Discarded cigarette being blamed for brush fire near Dubois late Thursday night.

Dubois Firefighters were called out to a grass fire 2 miles east of Dubois on Highway 545.
Firefighters found about a 50ft by 40ft area of grass and brush burning next to the highway.

The call came in from a passerby who stayed on scene until the fire department arrived.
The fire was quickly extinguished and confined to the area where they found it.
