Birdseye Woman Injured After Crashing Car

(DUBOIS COUNTY) - A Birdseye woman escaped serious injury after he lost control of his car and crashed along Cuzco Road South Tuesday afternoon.

The Dubois County Sheriff's Department says 18-year old Johannah Jackson lost control of her car in a curve while trying to avoid a collision with another vehicle.

Deputies say Jackson's car slid off the road and landed in a ditch on its top.

Jackson was able to get out of the car on her own. She was taken to Memorial Hospital in Jasper by family members for treatment of abrasions to her back.
