(SPRINGVILLE) - A Bedford woman was injured after she rolled her car on Springville-Judah Road early this morning.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, Elizabeth Penter, 19, of Springville, was traveling west on Springville-Judah Road at 12:32 a.m. when she told police she was traveling too fast, lost control of her 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix, went off the right side of the roadway and went over a small embankment.

The car then spun and slid sideways causing it to overturn and land on its top.

Penter suffered a cut on her knee, but refused medical attention.

Police say there was minor damage to a hay field owned by Larry King.

Perry Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
