Last updated on Friday, June 1, 2012

(BEDFORD) - Summer reading programs for children ages 0-11 (“Dream Big”) and for youth/teens from 12-18 (“Own the Night”) begin Monday.

This will be the first time the library's summer reading program has offered in two parts.

It also will be the first time participants will register and record their reading minutes online.

Participants can use their home computers, smartphones or the library's computers.

Participants earn prizes for reading during the program, and those who complete the program also will earn a ticket to attend an end-of-summer party.

Special presentations and programs at the library begin with K.C.'s Puppet Time at 1 p.m. June 8 in the Program Room.

This program is part of the summer reading program and is offered at no charge. Registration is not required.
