Otis Park Gold Ball Set For August 11

Last updated on Wednesday, June 20, 2012

(BEDFORD) - You don’t have to play golf to attend the Otis Park Golf Ball.

Marsha Mathews says the event is a fundraiser to help improve the city's parks.
Mathews is chairperson of the Golf Ball Committee comprised of Mary Ann Roach, Dottie Duncan, Terri Owens and Betty Lou Hale.

The event, staged every couple of years at Otis Park's historic limestone band shell, benefits the Bedford Recreation Foundation, a long-time companion and caretaker of Bedford parks.

The ball will be August 11th beginning at 8:30 p.m. Tickets will cost $15 per person and dress is casual. Tables of 10 can be reserved for those wishing to sit together. Headlining the soiree is - The Dynamics.

For more information about the Golf Ball, contact Marsha at 508-2040, or Terri at 272-0739 or terrileeowens@comcast.net.
