Orleans Hires New Police Officer

(ORLEANS) - Erin B. Rosenberger is the newest member of the Orleans Police
Department.

42-year-old. Rosenberge,of Bedford was approved for hiring by the Orleans Town Council during a special meeting on June 13th. after a request was made by Orleans Police Chief Roy McFarland.

Rosenberger will replace Officer Jordan Cain Gilstrap who resigned to take a position with the Mitchell Police Department.

Gilstrap had been with the Orleans Police Department since 2006.

Rosenberger is a 1988 graduate of Mitchell High School and graduated in 1993 from
Vincennes University with Associates of Science in Law Enforcement degree. He graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in April of 1999 and is a former member of the US Army and the Indiana National Guard. Rosenberger previously worked for the Bedford Police Department as a patrolman and the Indiana Gaming Commission as a Gaming Agent.
