Orleans Chamber Of Commerce Invites Visitors To Come Sit Awhile

Last updated on Tuesday, June 26, 2012

(ORLEANS) - Orleans Chamber of Commerce Campaign encourages visitors to come sit awhile.

Nothing says welcome like a couple of rockers placed on the front porch. Whether it is
at the front of your business or your home's front porch, a rocking chair implies an invitation and promotes friendship and camaraderie like no other symbol.

The Orleans Chamber is encouraging local businesses and residences to place rockers in front of their property this summer whenever possible according to Chamber Exec. Director Robert Henderson, the on-going campaign is designed to promote Orleans as Orange County's Front Porch and inviting our visitor friends to come sit a while.

"We hope to make a rocker a summertime symbol of Orleans' friendliness and invite everyone to join our efforts," said Henderson.
