(ORLEANS) - One person was transported by the Air-Evac Helicopter to University
of Louisville Hospital following a two vehicle crash on East Jackson Street in Orleans Sunday.

The crash occurred when 59-year-old Frank Phillip Carrio Jr., of Paoli, was driving a 2001
Buick on East Jackson Street and struck a parked 2000 Honda registered to 62-year-old Susan Hanscom of Martinsville.

According a passenger in Carrio's vehicle, Frank Carrio was traveling east on Jackson Street and became ill and swerved left of center and struck the rear end of the Hanscom 2000 Honda which was parked facing east on the north side of Jackson Street.

Alcohol and illegal narcotics do not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The Orleans Police Department investigated the 1:38p.m., vehicle crash and was assisted on scene by the Orleans Fire Department and IU Health Paoli Ambulance personnel.
