(FORT RITNER) - One man was injured after their truck was run off the road and hit a tree early Sunday morning.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 26-year-old Benjamin Morrow, of Bedford, was traveling east on Fort Ritner Road when a pickup truck came up from behind and hit his 1998 Plymouth Neon Expresso in the rear.

The truck continued to push Morrow's vehicle off the roadway. Morrow's car went into a soybean field and hit a tree. Morrow told police the pickup then fled the scene.

Morrow was not injured, but his passenger 18-year-old Kennedy Morrow, of Springville, complained of back pain.
