Mitchell Library Now Offers Downloadable Audiobooks

(MITCHELL) - The Mitchell Community Public Library now offers downloadable audiobooks and ebooks.

To begin using the service, patrons will need a valid library card in good standing and pin number.

From bestsellers to classics, this new service will allow for reading on smartphones, tablets, Kindles, Nooks and desktop computers. For more information talk to a library staff member or visit www.mitchell.lib.in.us

It's "Bag 'O Books" sale time. Browse the sale carts in the library's lower hallway. Fill a bag with books, magazines, movies and audio books for $2 per bag. New items are added daily. Proceeds from the book sale help support library programs.

Library staff will read suspenseful tales around an indoor "campfire" during its "scary" storytime, Campfire Stories, at 3 p.m. Friday, June 29, July 13 and July 27. Recommended for ages 7 and older. No registration required.
