(MITCHELL) - The City of Mitchell is inviting interested parties to attend a public meeting to discuss the following items:

  • Developing a "vision" for the City of Mitchell
  • Identifying and developing a list of community needs and desires or a "wish list."
  • Prioritizing those needs identified

The meetings will be June 12th at Noon at the Mitchell Senior Center and July 19th at 5 p.m. at Bloomfield State Bank.

The information gathered at these meetings will be used in developing a Comprehensive community development plan based on the needs of the city.

If you can not attend a meeting, surveys will be available at city hall, the senior center or can be completed online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/cityofmitchell. You also can write a letter to Mayor Gary Pruett regarding the discussion items listed about which will be incorporated into this plan.
