(BEDFORD) - 67-year-old Thomas Cook, of Terre Haute, was arrested after he allegedly touched a resident at Core Nursing Home Friday afternoon.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, Cook is a resident at the nursing home and a registered sex offender.
Parsley says the department was contacted by the facilities administrator advising Cook had allegedly touched another female resident in an inappropriate manor.
Police arrested Cook, who was in a motorized wheel chair and transported him to the jail using the TASC bus. He was charged with battery.
