(BLOOMFIELD) - An 18-year-old Lyons teen faces a felony intimidation charge after he allegedly threatened his sister last month.

Nick Schneider of the Greene County Daily World reports that Adam Sapp was arrested by Lyons Town Marshal Ron Sparks on Thursday afternoon on a warrant charging him with intimidation - a class D felony.

He remains incarcerated in the Greene County Jail on $4,000 bond.

Sapp is accused on May 18 of ordering his sister, Kelly Sapp, off of their grandparent's property and if she didn't comply "he would go in the house and get a gun and shoot and kill her," according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Greene Circuit Court by Sparks.

The grandparents, Harold and Mariam Crenshaw, live at 110 S. Meridian Street in Lyons. They were out of town when the incident took place.

"She said that Adam also told her that he could get away with shooting her because she was trespassing," Sparks wrote.

Kelly Sapp told police that her brother was not supposed to be at their grandparent's home while they were away.

On the day of the incident, Kelly Sapp alleged that Adam Sapp's girlfriend, Shelby Criss and her dad, Keith Sapp, were inside the house when the threat was made in the front yard of the residence.

Adam Sapp told police that he cursed his sister, but made no physical threats to her, but did tell his sister that if she did not leave the property or attempted to enter the house that he would be within his rights to shoot her in self-defense for trespassing, Sparks wrote in the probable cause affidavit.

He added, "Kelly did tell me that she is very afraid of her brother and would like to see him get some help for his anger issues."
