(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police Detectives are investigating the break-in at a home in Fleetwood Addition.
According to the homeowner, she was on vacation and returned home around 2 a.m. this morning to find someone had entered her home and stole several items.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff Sam Craig the person or persons possible entered the home after removing a screen on a side window and entered through that window.
"Items missing from the home include a lap top computer, Ipod and other items," Craig says.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
