(FRENCH LICK) - The French Lick Police Department arrested a French Lick teen in connection with a burglary that happened sometime Saturday night or early Sunday morning at White’s Service Center in French Lick.
Police received the report of the break-in at 11: 02 a.m. on Sunday.
Police found door to the building open, shelving knocked over and several items including tobacco products were taken. On Monday, the owner of the business received a tip that a witness on Sunday, had seen a person stash items in a wooded area along Michigan Street about a quarter mile from the station.
The witness identified 19 year old Kodie Goldman of French Lick in a photo lineup.
Goldman was later arrested at the Edgewood Terrace Apartments by French Lick and West Baden Police.
He was charged with possession of stolen property and booked into the Orange County Jail. State Police assisted at the scene, and burglary is still under investigation.
Bond was set at $1005 cash.
