(LINTON) - Linton police responded to a domestic dispute early Sunday morning and learned the suspect was wanted on an active warrant in another domestic battery case.

Ryan R. Lewis, 30, from Linton, was arrested at his residence - the site of the alleged domestic dispute - at about 1:22 a.m. on Sunday.

Lewis was arrested by Linton Police Department Det. Paul Clark on the outstanding warrant that was filed in Greene Superior Court on April 19.

The warrant charges him with residential entry and intimidation - both Class D felonies; and battery resulting in injury - a class A misdemeanor.

Lewis is being held in the Greene County Jail on $9,000 bond.
