(BEDFORD) - 47-year-old Marty Wilson, of Bedford, was injured Wednesday morning after his motorcycle hit a deer and then flipped on top of him.

According to a report at the Lawrence County Police Department, Wilson was traveling north on Ind. 450 about when a deer ran into his path near Carver Lane.

After hitting the deer the motorcycle skidded along the roadway, hit a speed limit sign and then the Honda spun around and landed on top of Wilson.
