(BROWNSTON) - Jackson County Board of Commissioners recently received an update about a walking trail that's going to be constructed on county property east of Brownstown.

Debbie Hackman, president of the board of Brownstown Chamber of Commerce, says work on the trail should begin soon.

Commissioners also approved a request from Carol Brown with Brownstown Fund for the Arts to allow it to stage a concert performed by Columbus City Band on June 24 on the courthouse lawn.

Commissioners also approved a $1,775 bid from Mills-Fahnestock Inc., Shelbyville, to caulk areas between concrete slabs around the annex.
