(ORLEANS) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an ATV accident that occurred in Orange County on County Road 100 W near the town of Orleans.
Indiana Conservation Officers, along with Orange County Sheriff's Department and Orleans Police Department responded to a reported ATV accident with injuries.
Jordan Karnes, 23, of Williams, was operating an ATV heading North on County Road 100 W. The ATV left the roadway and crashed into a fence along the side of the roadway, causing the ATV to roll.
Karnes was not wearing any type of safety equipment. Karnes was flown to U of L Hospital in Louisville by Air EVAC.
Indiana Conservation Officers were assisted by Orange County Sheriff's Department, Orleans Police Department, and IU Heath Paoli Hospital EMS.
