Two Injured When Motorcycles Collide

(BEDFORD) - Two motorcycles collided Sunday morning leaving two injured.

According to a Lawrence County police report, 63-year-old Edward Herzod was traveling east on U.S. 50 West and was turning into the Speedway gas station when his 2001 Honda Goldwing was rear-ended by a 2006 Honda G18 driven by 63-year-old Darrel Kiefner of Vincennes. Police note that Herzod was pulling a trailer behind his bike.

Kiefner told police he didn't see Herzond stop and he locked up his brakes but was unable to avoid colliding with Herzond's motorcycle.

Kiefner complained of shoulder and upper arm pain. His passenger, 63-year-old Gloria Kiefner, complained of stomach and pelvis pain.
