Bedford Habitat for Humanity ReStore Has New Manager

Last updated on Thursday, May 3, 2012

(BEDFORD) - Jason Rayhill is the new manager of the Bedford ReStore.

ReStore accepts donations of new and gently used building materials, household items, appliances and furniture. Profits from the store help build Habitat houses.

Appliances, according to board president Deborah Hazen, are the most sought-after items.
"They go really fast," she said.

ReStore, on L Street behind Ace Pawn Shop, is open now Tuesday through Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Right now the store can only accept drop-off donations, but in the future the store plans to offer pickup of donated items. More information about ReStore can be found on the store's Facebook page.
