Spierers Launch Photo Project To Find Daughter

Last updated on Wednesday, May 16, 2012

(BLOOMINGTON) - The parents of missing Indiana University student Lauren Spierer are launching a photo project to raise awareness about their daughter’s disappearance.

Robert and Charlene Spierer have asked people to take photos of things that remind them of their daughter and post them online using the hashtag #FindLauren or email them to newsonlauren@gmail.com.

A new blog, findlauren.tumbler.com, will be used to turn to the photos into new posters to remind people of the ongoing efforts to find the missing 20-year-old.

Lauren Spierer was last seen walking near 11th Street and College Avenue in Bloomington in the early morning hours of June 3 after a night of partying with friends.

The family asked anyone with information to contact their private investigator, Beau Dietl Associates, at 800-777-9366, or the Bloomington Police Department at 812-339-4477.
