Seymour Police Looking For Woman Who Robbed Bank

(SEYMOUR) - Seymour Police Department continues to investigate a report of a bank robbery on the city’s east side.

Police were called to PNC Bank, 1551 E. Tipton St., at 4:42 p.m. Monday.

Police say they are looking for a white woman in her mid-20s, about 5-feet-5-inches to 5-feet-6-inches tall. She was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants. The female is described as having a slender build. Her hair was described as dirty blonde and pulled into a ponytail.

The suspect advised she had a weapon, but no weapon was displayed, police said.

She was last seen running northwest toward the Village Center parking lot. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.
