(SEYMOUR) - Seymour Police Department continues to investigate a report of a bank robbery on the city's east side.

Police were called to PNC Bank, 1551 E. Tipton St., at 4:42 p.m. Monday.

Police say they are looking for a white woman in her mid-20s, about 5-feet-5-inches to 5-feet-6-inches tall. She was wearing a black T-shirt and black pants. The female is described as having a slender build. Her hair was described as dirty blonde and pulled into a ponytail.

The suspect advised she had a weapon, but no weapon was displayed, police said.

She was last seen running northwest toward the Village Center parking lot. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
