(BLOOMFIELD) - A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Linton man allegedly involved in a fight and unlawful entry of a residence in early April.

Nick Schneider, of the Greene County Daily World, reports Greene Superior Court Judge Dena Martin has approved a warrant for 31-year-old Ryan Lewis following an incident April 5 at Independence Place Apartments on SE K St. in Linton.

Lewis is being sought on a warrant charging him with residential entry and intimidation - both class D felonies; and battery resulting in injury - a class A misdemeanor.

Lewis is alleged to have hit Michael Lammers two times in the chest after forcing his way into Apartment No. 5, according to a probable cause filed by Linton Police office Thomas Jerrells.

According to the affidavit, Lewis came back several hours later and apologized - saying he was drunk when the earlier incident had occurred. He also offered to pay for damages done to the door that were estimated at $730 after an inspection by KWK Construction Company LLC of Montgomery.

However, during the same conversation, Lewis is alleged to have become upset when he was told the battery incident was reported to police.

"Ryan (Lewis) told Michael (Lammers) that if Michael put Ryan's name on paper (with the police) he would burn Michael's house down. Then as Ryan was walking away, he told Michael that he would come back and beat him again," Jerrells wrote in the affidavit.
