(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Police Officer Cody Medlock received a tip that there was a marijuana grow just east of Pride Estates trailer park, growing in the woods.

The Drug Task Force and Medlock responded.

The caller told police he was walking in the woods when he discovered the plants, which he thought were marijuana and called police.

The Task Force recovered 83 plants growing next to the railroad tracks. Some of the plants were about 2 feet tall and others were smaller.
