(OOLITIC) - Oolitic Deputy Marshal Bill Allen has been busy this month with teenagers causing havoc.

A 6th grader at Oolitic Middle School was suspended and turned into juvenile probation after he allegedly put a knife near another sixth graders throat and threatened them.

The student was not injured.

Allen says the incident happened during 8th period on May 10th.

Allen says criminal charges are pending against the student with the knife.

On May 14th officers were called to a party with underage teens at Manor View Apartments.

When officers arrived Allen says they found one 14-year-old suffering from alcohol poisoning. The teen was taken to Bloomington Hospital and was kept overnight.

Allen says the teens, all Oolitic Middle School students, were between 14 and 16-years-old.

Allen says another 14-year-old at the party was cited into court for illegal consumption and released to his parents.

Officers obtained a search warrant, and removed several bottles of alcohol from the apartment.

Allen has asked the Lawrence County Prosecutor's office to file charges against the adult who was at the party.

On Monday three k-9 units searched Oolitic Middle School. Bedford Capt. Jeremy Bridges and Ciro, Lawrence County Officer Andrew Phillips and Axle and Allen and Ahani searched the school for narcotics.

No drugs were found, but officer did find stolen items in one student's locker. The items had been stolen from the school.

Allen says school officials are handling the situation.

Allen is trying to make the public aware of the dangers of meth. On Monday, he addressed the Bedford Board of Realtors.
