(BEDFORD) - The 62nd annual Pancake Festival sponsored by the Bedford Lions Club will take place Saturday from 6 a.m. to noon at Thornton Park pavilion.
Tickets are available from any club member, or they can be purchased at the pavilion Saturday. Prices are $5 for those age 13 and older and $3 for children 12 and younger. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, coffee or milk.
Carry-out orders will again be available at a drive-through lane on the south side of the pavilion. Those wanting carry-out should follow the entrance signs south of the Bedford Parks Department office and place their orders at the designated stop area.
Proceeds from the Pancake Festival will be used for a number of community projects, including the purchase of glasses for needy children, the insect control program and construction of ramps for needy individuals.
