(LINTON) - A 29-year-old Linton woman with several small children was arrested Monday evening after being intoxicated more than three times the legal limit in the parking lot of a local grocery store.

Nick Schneider, of the Greene County Daily World, reports that Debra Ann Ceol-Stephens, who lives on SW 2nd St., was arrested by Linton Police Department Officer Michael Watts at the Save-A-Lot store parking lot, located at 209 South Main St. in Linton, at about 7:02 p.m. She was initially charged with neglect of a dependent - a class D felony; and public intoxication - a class B misdemeanor.

Police received a report from a female about an intoxicated woman at the store, who had some small children with her.

When police arrived, she was standing outside of her vehicle.

Ceol-Stephens failed a Standard Field Sobriety Test (SFST) and measured .264 percent on a Portable Breath Test (PBT) administered by Officer Watts.

The threshold for intoxication in the state of Indiana is .08 percent.

She remains incarcerated in the Greene County Jail and is being held on $4,500 bond.
