(BEDFORD) - A Heltonville man was arrested after he crashed his vehicle into a parked car on M Street Monday night.
According to a Bedford Police Maj. Brian Turpen, Shane Christenberry was traveling south on M Street near 7th Street, when he veered his 2000 Saturn into a parked 1998 Jeep Wrangler, owned by Kevin Allen, of Bedford.
Christenberry was not injured, but his passenger 29-year-old Rosa Carcamo, of Bedford, complained of pain to her knee and leg.
Turpen said while he was talking to Chrisenberry he detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and asked Chrisenberry if he had been drinking. Chrisenberry failed a Standard Field Sobriety Test and Portable Breath Test.
He was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
