(ELLETTSVILLE) - The Ellettsville Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Circle K Convenience Store located at 504 W. Temperance St. in Ellettsville.
Anyone having information is asked to contact the Ellettsville Police Department at The robbery occurred on Sunday evening just shortly after 11 p.m.
According to the clerk, a white male with his face covered by a white bandana entered the store just after 11 p.m., displaying a black semi automatic pistol.
The robber then demanded the money from the cash register while pointing the handgun directly at the clerk. A small amount of money was taken and the robber fled the store running northbound on Sale Street on foot. The clerk then called 911 and officers were dispatched.
A detailed description of the suspect and a possible vehicle used in the robbery were obtained from the Circle K in-store video.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5' 10" to 6'0", 18 to 30 years of age wearing a green Under Armour brand t-shirt, blue jeans, and a white hat with a blue or black bill. The hat also has a small logo in the center. The suspect was also wearing a white bandana that covered his entire face except his eyes. The vehicle possibly used is described as a white mid 90's 4-door Honda Accord.
