Ellettsville Man Arrested After Stabbing Man Over Xbox

(ELLETTSVILLE) - A 18-year-old man is facing felony charges for allegedly stabbing another man.

Police say Savon Phillips was at a basketball court in Ellettsville with the victim Friday night, when an argument began over an Xbox 360. A witness said the victim accused Phillips of stealing his Xbox, then slapped Phillips in the face. Phillips responded by stabbing the 19-year-old man in the abdomen.

Officers responded to the crime scene as the victim was being transported to the hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. His name and condition has not been released.
Phillips was arrested on felony charges of attempted murder, aggravated battery and battery with a deadly weapon.
