(BROWNSTOWN) - The perfect blend of senior leadership and underclassman contributions has carried the Brownstown Central girl’s track and field team to win their 11th straight Mid-Southern Conference Title Tuesday night.
Seniors Maria Allen and Jenna Hackman each collected three blue ribbons. Allen won the long jump and Hackman won the 800, and both helped the 400 and 1,600 relay teams win.
The other senior winner was Hailey Brown in the high jump. The Braves' other victory on the night was freshman Jaelyn Reynolds in the discus, and senior Megan Quade made it a 1-2 finish.
The girls will now prepare for Tuesday's sectional at Seymour.
