(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police arrested a naked man early Sunday morning after a woman reported the man was inside her friend’s car.
Bloomington Police Sgt. Lucas says, 37-year-old William Potter, was sitting in the vehicle parked in a lot at Bradford Woods Apartments in the 900 block of East Eminence Way.
The woman noticed Potter, who was naked sitting in her friend's car and reported he was trying to start the vehicle without keys.
When police arrived Potter was walking with another man who was clothed. When police approached Potter he ran. Potter was tackled by police and became combative.
Tate says Potter was intoxicated and was taken to IU Health Hospital and evaluated before taken to the Monroe County Jail on charges of public indecency, public intoxication, resisting arrest and trespassing inside a motor vehicle.
