(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County Clerk, Myron Rainey, reminds voters that today is the last day to register to vote for the Primary Election on May 8th.

Registration applications must be received in the office, by mail, or in person, by the close of business that day.

Voter registration forms and instructions for submitting them are available on the Secretary of State's website at www.IN.sos.gov. Voters can also register at numerous government offices, including the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

Voters can check their registration status as well as find the location of their polling place by visiting www.IndianaVoters.com.

Rainey strongly urges Hoosier voters to make sure their voter registration information is accurate and up to date, ensuring their voice will be heard on Election Day. Questions can be directed to the Voter Registration Office at (812) 277-20036 or by visiting www.sos.IN.gov/elections.
