The Harlem Wizards To Play In Orleans

(ORLEANS) - The Harlem Wizards will play basketball against a local group of players who will call themselves the Orleans Ballers on April 12.

The Orleans Band Boosters will sponsor the game as a fundraiser for the Orleans band program.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. at Orleans High School. The game will begin at 7 p.m. Advanced tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for those 4 years old through student age. Children 3 and younger will be admitted free. The game price will increase on the night of the game to $12 for adults and $10 for those 4 years old through student age.

The local team will include Orleans teachers and players from the past.

Advance ticket can be purchased online at harlemwizards.com and also at Marathon, J&S Sportswear, Paradise Pizza and Huck's, all in Orleans, and at New Wave Communication in Mitchell and Tractor Supply in Paoli.

Members of the Harlem Wizards team will visit Orleans schools the day of the event for a promotional and educational convocation. Following the game, the Wizards will participate in a free autograph session.
