(BEDFORD) - Cathy Daulton called police after she came home to find her bedroom light on and her lawn mower missing.
According to the Lawrence County Police log Daulton had left her home around 2:30 p.m. and didn't leave any light on in the house.
When police arrive to the home in the 400 block of Coutny Complex Road, they searched the area and secured the home finding no one inside.
They soon discovered the lawnmower was not missing but on Daulton's roof.
Officers say there was damage to Daulton's home when the mower was placed on the roof. Those responsible could face charges of criminal mischief.
